Join us for a unique evening exploring the connections between Italian and South African food, culture, and nutrition at the “Legkotla” event. Held in conjunction with the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, this event is co-organized by the World Anthropological Union, the Italian Cultural Institute, and the Italian Embassy.

- 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Public Anthropology Conference
- Experts from Italy and South Africa will share insights on the Mediterranean Diet, the environment’s impact on health, and social/food traditions.
- This session will feature a round-table discussion.
- 6:30 PM Onwards: Exclusive Dining Experience
- Meet and greet guest speakers while enjoying a buffet dinner accompanied by Italian Jazz music.
- Engage in conversations with international anthropologists and fellow attendees.
